Ezra 3:3
3 And they set the altar upon his bases; for fear was upon them because of the people of those countries: and they offered burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD, even burnt offerings morning and evening.
1 Corinthians 3:11
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
There are three ways that God builds by foundation. The first way is by revelation. When Jesus asked them who do men say that I am. Peter spoke, “Thou art Christ the son of the living God. Jesus told Peter Blessed are you Peter for flesh and blood hath not revealed this to you but my Father in heaven revealed this to you, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against you. What was this rock. It was the rock of revelation. It was the revelation that Christ is God the word. The second way that God builds is relationally, and we see this through the Jews coming together in unity to place the altar upon the bases of foundation that they knew would be the starting point of their great journey of rebuilding the temple. We also see this in the book of Acts 2:42 where it says they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Verse 46 and 47 says that they continued daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. They devoted themselves the foundational teachings of Christ Jesus taught by the apostles, and they functioned as a temple of the Holy Spirit as the new testament church. Martin Luther didn’t start any new doctrine in preaching that the just shall live by faith. He opened the scriptures and found himself standing upon the foundation of Christ by repentance of sins. The true foundation goes further than Coptic Orthodox, the great reformation, Roman Catholic, and any other religion or move that has been birthed after the resurrection of Christ. Some believe that the protestant reformation is some new doctrine, but actually it is based from scripture. Martin Luther during the 1500's came against the corruptions that were in the Roman Catholic church, and we have the same type of corruptions today in our protestant move that are just as bad. Some preachers today might as well say the words, “As soon as the coins of seeds ring, so shall the extravagant lifestyle of my ministry spring!" We see it everyday, and it is embarrassing as the body of Christ. Give! Give! Give! Is the great message that we are showing people that don’t even know Christ. We have the big curtains, acts and shows, and of course the favorite apostles, prophets, and big missionaries that really don’t even care about the poor and lost souls, but only there own life in the natural. I know of missionaries who are "using" poor villages in India etc. for personal gain and favor. God help them. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes church. This is very sad, and God is about to either bring these corrupt missionaries to repentance, or remove them. It is sad to see these poor villages just grasping on to anyone who my show some care, and the pastor's of this village find out they are truly false apostles transforming themselves as angels of light. This makes me furious, and if you are in this category I urge you to get on your knees and repent. I believe that foundational minister's of God will bring forth prophetic words to all of those in the ministry who have either gotten off course from truth, or started out corrupt. Then you have prophets telling people that don’t even know the Lord that they can give them a word for the future for a small fee. Where have we gone to? It is building new revelations, new foundations, and new doctrine’s that doesn’t come from the doctrine and rich teachings of Jesus. I know that this is not the most popular message, and I'd probably get hung in some churches if they could get by with it, but I’m not writing this article to tickle ears, but rather to bring we as the body of Christ to the right place of foundation by just quoting scripture. It’s just that simple. Let’s find Jesus again in the temple by realizing that the Holy Spirit will always convict sin, testify of the blood of Christ, and make Jesus more attractive. This is the foundation, and this is putting our faith upon the bases of His word.
Before we go to prayer I would like to share something on the inside of me. I have been hearing the word "Moneychangers" this past week, and the Lord is seeing the same things in the church today that he saw when He went to the temple in anger for what was going on in the temple. God is doing a shaking in the church. I never thought I'd see what we see in the church. I never thought I'd see the day when popular prophets would get together and have a meeting at a hotel ball room and get up on stage to speak, and when the judges felt they weren't good enough they would get bonged. Yes! it's here folks. I never thought I'd see the day when personal prophecies would become more important than Christ Himself, and Christ seems to get lost in the middle of it. This is just to name a few. God help us. I said God help us. Lets pray!
Prayer:
Lord, we come to you and ask that you search our hearts to see if there is any wrong motive there. Forgive us Lord for not standing and remaining upon that sure foundation. Breathe upon us foundation again and let us taste of your mercy and holiness as we go forward in your truth and knowledge of who we are in You, amen.

Pure Ministry
These weekly devotionals will be to strengthen us as the church to follow sound doctine and be nourished in the words of faith. It will be about pure ministry and how a ministry can remain pure and not become polluted by humanistic teachings and worldly principles. I feel the Lord is speaking to my heart concerning our nation and concerning us as the church. I would like for all of you to comment as well so we can all participate. This is iron sharpening iron. I know that there are many true men and women of God on facebook that I know personally, and know the integrity and character of their walk with the Lord who can give us some good advice and direction for the situation that we are facing.

Pure Ministry Concerning The Prophetic And The Prosperity Gospel Feburary 13th Weekly Devotional by Keith Edwards
Read:
Jude 1;3
3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.
A writer said one time: "That the apostasy of the early church came as a result of a greater desire to see the spread of its power and rule than to see new natures given to its individual members. The moment we covet a large following and rejoice in the crowd that is attracted by our presentation that we considered truth, and have not a great desire to see the nature of individuals changed according to the divine plan, we start to travel the same road to apostasy that leads to Rome and her daughters." This is so true for how the church can fall from God's first love and how she can be more concerned with power rather than concern for lost souls. We see this in some of the prophetic and apostolic movement. They are more concerned with the gifts' of God versus the giver of those gifts. A minister said one time that, "You know that God is in the midst when miracles and great things happen." Although this can be true, the greatest way you can tell a true revival is the repentant hearts of the people concerning our next generation, our nation, and concern for God's heart. If we put this as first priority then the gifts and power of God will be pure. We need to contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints and stay true as the bride of Christ. I want to encourage us today to keep Christ the center of our life in every area, and let Him bring forth the glory in His way and His timing.
